Muchos radioaficionados de todo el mundo vienen por turismo a Perú y son bienvenidos, si usted está pensando en visitarnos nosotros podemos guiarlo y ayudarle para obtener los premisos necesarios.

Si usted posee una licencia del tipo IARP vigente puede operar en Perú, solo deberá anteponer el prefijo OA más el número de zona radial desde donde opere a su indicativo de origen, por ejemplo la estación A1BCD deberá identificarse como OA4/A1BCD si opera en la ciudad de Lima (zona OA4) o OA6/A1BCD si opera desde la ciudad de Arequipa (Zona OA6).

Si su país de origen no emite licencias del tipo IARP o no posee un convenio de reciprocidad con Perú usted podrá solicitar al Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones una licencia temporal la cual será vigente por el período de su estadía en el país.

Si usted desea traer sus equipos de radio le informamos que el ingreso de estos está sujeto a regulaciones aduaneras, las cuales exigen presentar un Permiso de Internamiento el cual es expedido por el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, caso contrario sus equipos podrán ser retenidos en la aduana hasta ser devueltos a su salida del Perú.

Many Ham Radio operators from different countries come to Peru on tourism and are welcome to operate from the country. If you consider visiting us, we can help and guide you to obtain the necessary permits.

If you have an active IARP permit you can operate in Peru. You will only have to add the OA prefix and the radial zone number from where you’re operating to your callsign. For example the station A1BCD will have to identify as OA4/A1BCD when operating from Lima (OA4 zone) or OA6/A1BCD when operating from Arequipa (OA6 zone)

If your country of origin doesn’t allow IARP licenses or hasn’t signed a reciprocity agreement with Peru, you can ask for a temporal license to the Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, which will be valid during your stay.

If you wish to bring your radios, you need to know in advance that bringing them is subject to Peruvian custom regulations, which require presenting an internment permit which is issued by the Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, otherwise your equipment may be retained in customs to be returned when you leave Peru.
